Role Description This part time Business Analyst (Entry / Junior) role is a hybrid position based in Melbourne, VIC, with a mix of office work and work-from-home flexibility. The role involves gathering and documenting business requirements, supporting analysis of processes and data, and assisting with the preparation of reports and presentations for stakeholders.

The Business

Analyst will help map current business processes, identify areas for improvement, and support the implementation of small changes under guidance from senior team members. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with colleagues to clarify needs, organizing information, maintaining documentation, and contributing to the testing and validation of proposed solutions.

Qualifications

- Ability to demonstrate strong Analytical Skills for interpreting data, identifying trends, and supporting evidence-based recommendations.
- Foundational Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills for documenting needs,



user stories, and basic functional specifications.
- Effective Communication skills for engaging with stakeholders, presenting findings clearly, and collaborating within cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of Business Process concepts, including mapping workflows and supporting process improvement initiatives.
- Relevant tertiary education or ongoing studies in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with common office and data tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, basic reporting tools).
- Attention to detail, curiosity to learn, and the ability to manage time and tasks in a part-time, hybrid work environment.
- Any exposure to financial services, consulting, or data analysis projects is considered an advantage.
