The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for generating and converting new business opportunities, working closely with prospects to understand their challenges and position the right software solution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cold visitng and canvassing
- Engaging inbound and outbound leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn conversations
- Conducting research to identify high-fit accounts and contacts to engage with
- Running discovery calls and product conversations with prospective customers
- Closing deals and development of partnerships
- Building strong product knowledge and articulating clear value to customers
- Helping to drive referrals and repeat business from existing customers
- Updating CRM
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years experience in B2B and SaaS
- Coming from the industry is a plus
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with customers
- Coachable mindset and resilience in a target-driven environment
- Experience in a customer-facing role such as sales, hospitality, retail, or call centre
- Objection handling skills
- Interest in technology, AI , software and building a career in SaaS B2B sales
- Motivation to learn, perform, and progress quickly
- Must own vehicle and driving license wiling to explore Melbourne.
