Access Adventure Club is on a mission to connect young people with nature, to improve the wellbeing of our next generation. We predominantly achieve this through delivering our Accessible Adventures programs for young people with disabilities.

We have been in operation for over 10 years, but only recently launched our 'Access Adventure Club' brand. We are leaders in a uniquely positioned niche that falls between outdoor education, disability support and tourism in Australia. We currently have a team of 18 full time staff and approximately 60 casual staff across Australia.

Role Description:

In this role, you will primarily be responsible for overseeing camps allocated to you, within our small group ‘Accessible Adventures’ camps category. This means leading a team of Administrators pre-program and leading a team of Program Facilitators during the program.

Our Accessible

Adventure programs are located in South Australia, Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales and now we are launching in Victoria! With a proven model in 4 other states, and very strong demand already showing in Victoria, we are certain we can create an impact for many families in Victoria.

The role can be summed up into 3 main components:

- Overseeing the coordination of each Accessible Adventure Camp program that you are assigned, using our proven step by step methodology, and your dedicated Program Administrator.




- Physically attending and leading camp programs in locations across Victoria, with your team of Program facilitators (support workers).
- Being a point of contact for guardians who have kids involved in our programs, or young adult participants and their support networks.

You will be in charge of coordinating 13 camps per year, and physically leading a minimum of 9. Hence, approximately once per month or a little less, you should be okay with being away from home for 3 or 4 nights to go to places like Mornington Peninsula, Yarra Valley, the Goldfields region, Gippsland and a bunch of other cool nature-based destinations in Victoria! The Ideal Candidate will be:

- An experienced outdoor educator or camp leader.
- Highly organised, and have ability to build rapport quickly with kids and guardians
- Have a strong passion for the outdoors and positive wellbeing of young people
- Physically fit and capable
- Knowledgeable or passionate about adventure-based activities
- Have core values that are aligned with ours
- A strong team leader
- A decent understanding of administration and Google suite of programs
- Experience working with youth with disabilities comes very highly regarded (although we do have support workers who support our kids on program at a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio)

- First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
- NDIS Workers Clearance

The role is full time, work from home (WFH remote) role based in Melbourne or surrounds - mainly as program locations are typically within 4 hours drive of Melbourne CBD, hence being a reasonable driving distance from program start locations in greater Melbourne areas is helpful.
