CTO – Insurance

Drive excellence and lead transformational outcomes as a trusted CTO advisor, shaping enterprise strategy, driving innovation across Cloud, Data and AI, and delivering exceptional value for customers.

We are seeking a proven technology leader with deep Enterprise Architecture expertise, a robust track record in large-scale transformation and modernization programs, experience designing cloud-based solutions, and the ability to engage and influence C-suite stakeholders as a trusted strategic advisor. The CTO (Insurance) will be required to act as the technical domain Subject Matter Expert to provide high quality Solution Architecture and lead outstanding outcomes for a portfolio of DXC customers. Suitable candidates will have extensive Banking knowledge and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Team Collaboration & Enablement:

- Partner with account executives and sales teams to identify technical requirements, understand customer pain points, and shape winning sales strategies
- Provide rapid technical responses to RFPs, RFQs, and complex technical questionnaires
- Develop compelling solution designs and proposal narratives that differentiate our offerings and address customer needs
- Participate in pre-sales technical discussions, customer workshops, and executive presentations to validate fit and build stakeholder confidence
- Coach and mentor sales teams on technical capabilities, cloud solutions, and architecture best practices to strengthen their positioning
- Contribute technical expertise to sales enablement initiatives, competitive analysis,



and thought leadership activities

Solution Architecture & Design:

- Translate strategic business objectives and technical requirements into practical, scalable solution designs
- Facilitate discovery workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution design sessions with prospective customers
- Provide architectural oversight, risk assessment, and design governance to ensure solution quality and feasibility
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and implementation opportunities early in the sales process
- Lead architectural discussions across multiple stakeholders, working alongside sales consultants, system engineers, and technical architects

Customer Engagement

- Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and CIOs, serving as a technical strategist and strategic advisor
- Provide architectural leadership and guidance throughout the proposal and early engagement phases
- Ensure solution designs align with customer strategic objectives and deliver measurable business value
- Support handover to delivery teams, ensuring continuity and successful project outcomes

Key Skills required:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 6 years of experience in Enterprise and systems architecture
- Previous experience working in Financial Services, specifically Banking.
- Presales experience highly advantageous
- Experience in any Cloud technology preferrable, especially AWS
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Outstanding presentation skills
