The Role An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Interventional Radiology) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

Assist the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) in leading and coordinating the Interventional Radiology team

Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and professional leadership to Registered and Enrolled nurses

Coordinate, develop, implement, and evaluate clinical practice standard guidelines, procedures, and protocols

Act as a primary contact and support for bookings and referrals.

Integrate key objectives from the health service strategic plan for Radiology into service delivery

About you To be successful in this position you will require:

Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent

Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia

Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B

Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required

Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Base salary ranging from $140,632 - $152,685 per annum





About Us The GCHHS Medical Imaging service delivers a wide range of diagnostic imaging and interventional services across the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS). The service provides a Level 6 Service at Gold Coast University Hospital (GCUH) providing in office interventional and neuro-interventional procedures, Nuclear Medicine, Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services.
