This part time or full time multi clinic-based role is focused on developing and empowering clinicians towards skilled confidence and competence. By leading and mentoring their therapy team, it affords the Clinical Supervisor the satisfaction of indirectly positively impacting the lives of many children and their families, while also simultaneously nurturing the therapists under their guidance.

This role is to provide clinical supervision and senior-based tasks only (with the option of adding on your own clinical caseload only if you desire).

You will be well-supported as part of the leadership team with Senior OT's and SLP's, Clinical Lead of OT and SLP, and a Clinical Director.

This Clinical Supervisor Leadership role provides the opportunity to:

- Mentor/Lead Occupational Therapists (and indirectly Speech Pathologists)

- Develop/Modify clinical delivery methods and operational systems that support clinicians

- Create new resources and service delivery

- Instigate, plan, and deliver regular Professional Development Team Training

- Enjoy supported growth into the role (Leadership training)

Requirements

About You

This role is ideal for you if you have:

- 3 years+ Paediatric experience (NDIS and developmental focus preferred)

- Occupational Therapy Australia Membership

- AHPRA Registration

- Current and ‘not prohibited’ DCSI Working with Children Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to quickly establish rapport with clients, families, and professionals

- Positive 'Can Do' attitude





- Ability to take initiative and to work independently as well as part of a team

- Genuine passion for Mentoring valuable therapists into awesome therapists!

- Passion to make a difference in the lives of children, their parents, and their teachers through nurturing the skill and impact delivered by the therapists your guidance.

- Leadership skills
- The Attitude, Ability and Vision top lead the team

- Experience as a Team Leader preferred but not essential.

- Clinical passion and dedication to quality care

- Clinical experience in working with school aged children and under 5-year old’s with:

- Autism Spectrum Disorder

- Development Delays

- Sensory Processing Difficulties
