About Us The Smoky Bay & Districts Community Club Inc. is a community-run hub at the heart of our coastal town, bringing together locals and visitors through great food, hospitality, events and sport.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and community-minded Club Manager (or Management Couple) to lead the day-to-day operations of our welcoming, family-friendly venue.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, values customer service and can confidently manage all aspects of a small community club.

Kitchen Duties

- Prepare and cook meals for regular service, functions and special events.

- Prepare pizzas outside regular kitchen trading hours.

- Manage kitchen stock, ordering and inventory.

- Maintain food safety standards and kitchen presentation.

- Assist with menu planning and purchasing.

Club Management Duties
- Oversee bar operations and provide bar service as required.

- Recruit, train, roster and supervise staff.

- Coordinate events, functions and community activities.

- Manage bookings, cash handling and daily reconciliations.

- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, RSA, food safety and WHS requirements.

- Promote the Club through community engagement, social media and local advertising.

- Manage suppliers, purchasing and volunteer coordination.





- Oversee the presentation, maintenance and general operation of club facilities.

- Monitor financial performance and report to the Committee.

- Foster a welcoming and inclusive workplace for members, visitors and the community.

About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Experience in hospitality, venue, club or hotel management.

- Strong leadership and people management skills.

- Food preparation and kitchen experience.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Sound administration, organisational and financial management skills.

- A proactive, community-focused approach and the ability to work independently.

- Current RSA accreditation (or ability to obtain).

- Knowledge of food safety and WHS requirements.
