Volunteer Description
Thadam is a multi-generational initiative dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and breaking stigma within the Tamil and broader South Asian community.
We focus on culturally grounded mental health education and storytelling that reflects lived experiences across families, migration journeys, and generations.
A key part of Thadam's work is bilingual communication in both Tamil and English, ensuring Thadam's content is accessible across different age groups and levels of language fluency within the community.
Through platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok (@thadamofficial), we create engaging and relatable content that encourages open conversations about mental health in a culturally sensitive way.
