Role Description

We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support the protection of systems, applications, networks, and data against security threats. The role involves monitoring security events, investigating alerts, identifying vulnerabilities, and supporting the implementation of appropriate security controls. You will analyze logs and security data, assist with incident detection and response, document findings, and help assess potential risks to the organization.

The role may also involve vulnerability management, security assessments, access reviews, compliance support, and maintaining security documentation and procedures. You will collaborate with IT, engineering, and business teams to improve security awareness, strengthen controls, and support continuous improvement of the organization’s cybersecurity posture.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, information security concepts, and common security threats.
- Familiarity with network security, endpoint protection,



identity and access management, and security monitoring.
- Understanding of security frameworks, risk management, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.
- Ability to analyze security logs, alerts, events, and other technical information to identify potential risks or suspicious activity.
- Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanning, or other security tools is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts, operating systems, databases, and cloud environments.
- Understanding of common attack techniques, security vulnerabilities, and defensive controls.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to document security findings clearly and communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize security issues based on risk and impact.
- Commitment to security best practices, continuous learning, and responsible handling of sensitive information.
