Turing Consulting is seeking some versatile and delivery-focused Data Migration Test Analysts with the following skills

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive data migration test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of the data reconciliation framework, including defining reconciliation rules, validation logic, automated comparison processes, and reporting to support migration testing.
- Validate data migrated from SQL Server to PostgreSQL using source-to-target mapping documentation.
- Perform data reconciliation, including row counts, field-level validation, referential integrity checks, and exception analysis.
- Verify data type conversions, transformations, business rules, and default values.
- Execute functional, system integration, regression, and performance testing related to the migration.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects through to resolution.
- Collaborate with IICS developers, database administrators, business analysts, and business stakeholders to resolve data quality issues.
- Create and execute SQL queries against SQL Server and PostgreSQL to validate migration results. • Produce reconciliation reports and testing evidence to support project governance and audit requirements.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by providing data validation and defect analysis.
- Participate in migration rehearsals, cutover activities, and post-migration verification.
- Ensure testing activities align with project timelines, quality standards, and governance requirements.

- Successful completion of migration testing within project timelines.
- Business stakeholder approval of migration outcomes prior to production deployment.

Required Skills and Experience

- Experience testing data migration or ETL projects.
- Solid SQL skills with experience querying and validating data in Microsoft SQL Server.

• Experience working with PostgreSQL databases.

- Experience using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) or other ETL/data integration tools.
- Experience designing or contributing to automated data reconciliation and validation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and data quality principles.
- Experience creating test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience using defect and test management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.

Desirable Skills

- Experience with cloud-based data integration platforms.
- Knowledge of database migration methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with performance testing of data migration processes.
- Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile project environments.
