Heavy Logistics and Mechanical (HLM) is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our team in our local workshop situated in Bowen North Queensland.

The successful applicant must have demonstrated experience working on heavy trucks, including servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs.

About the Role

You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles, ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard and all work is completed safely and efficiently.

To Be Successful, You Will Need:

- Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

- Previous heavy truck experience – essential

- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

- Experience with servicing, maintenance and repairs of heavy vehicles

- Current Australian Driver Licence - essential

- Current HC/MC Australian Drivers LIcnece will be highly regarded

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team





- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

- Ability to pass relevant pre-employment and site requirements
