Duggans is seeking a fully qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our Mechanical Workshop at Cradoc.
This is a hands-on role responsible for the maintenance and repair of a diverse range of vehicles, heavy machinery, plant and equipment used across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on vehicles, plant and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs efficiently.
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
- Assist with breakdown repairs as required.
- Maintain equipment to a high standard of safety and reliability.
- Complete relevant maintenance records and documentation.
- Work safely and effectively as part of the workshop team.
About You The successful applicant will have:
- A recognised qualification as a Diesel Mechanic or equivalent.
- Experience servicing and repairing diesel vehicles, plant and heavy equipment.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- A good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable and practical approach to work.
- Experience working with heavy rigid trucks would be highly regarded.
