About the role As a Grade 1 Dietitian at Barwon Health, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based nutrition and dietetic services across a range of clinical settings. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support patients and clients to achieve optimal health outcomes through comprehensive, consumer-centred care.

This role is primarily based at University Hospital Geelong and/or McKellar Centre, with opportunities to work across other Barwon Health sites. You will manage a clinical caseload, contribute to service improvement initiatives, and participate in team-based care planning. Flexibility is required, including potential weekend work and rotation across sites to support service delivery needs.

Key responsibilities

- Provide evidence-based nutrition and dietetic assessment, intervention, and care planning within a multidisciplinary team
- Manage a clinical caseload, ensuring timely, accurate documentation and high standards of patient care
- Collaborate with patients, families,



and healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, consumer-centred care
- Contribute to quality improvement activities, audits, and service development initiatives

What we’re looking for

- Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status, or eligibility, with Dietitians Australia
- Demonstrated ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships
- A commitment to ongoing career development, evidence-based practice, and Barwon Health values
