Digital Transformation Systems Coordinator
Casual Project Role | Approximately 3 Months | Pharmaceutical Manufacturing | On-site
Are you passionate about digital transformation and interested in how technology, data and better processes can transform the way manufacturing operates?
IDT Australia is looking for a Digital Transformation Systems Coordinator to join our Digital Transformation team and support an important digital manufacturing project.
The Opportunity
We are transitioning manufacturing documentation and processes into an electronic environment and need someone who can help us successfully deliver this next stage of our digital transformation.
This is not a general IT support or software development role. We are looking for someone with strong digital, systems and analytical capability who can understand business processes, translate requirements into practical electronic workflows, test solutions and ensure information and data are accurate.
Working across Production, Quality, Validation, Engineering and Digital Transformation, you will help bridge the gap between business processes, people, data and technology within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Map and analyse current manufacturing processes and help translate them into effective electronic workflows.
- Work with business users and subject matter experts to understand and document business, user and functional requirements.
- Configure manufacturing documents, forms and Batch Manufacturing Records within our electronic manufacturing system.
- Support system configuration, testing, UAT, verification and implementation.
- Validate data, calculations, limits, fields and electronic records for accuracy, completeness and integrity.
- Identify process gaps,
inconsistencies and opportunities to improve workflows and system usability.
- Document testing outcomes and support the resolution and retesting of identified issues.
- Work collaboratively across the business to help drive project activities and deliver implementation milestones.
What We're Looking For
Your background could be in Business Information Systems, Digital Transformation, Business Analytics, Pharmaceutical Science, Science, Quality, Validation, Process Improvement or a related discipline.
You may already understand pharmaceutical manufacturing, or you may bring solid business systems and digital transformation capability with the ability and enthusiasm to quickly learn our regulated manufacturing setting.
What matters most is your ability to understand how a process works, translate business needs into system requirements, test whether solutions work as intended and apply exceptional attention to detail to systems and data.
You will ideally bring
- Experience, study or project exposure in business systems, digital transformation, process mapping, requirements analysis, system testing or data validation.
- Strong digital capability and confidence learning and working with new software and electronic systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify gaps, inconsistencies and improvement opportunities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to documentation, testing and data accuracy.
- The ability to understand and interpret processes, workflows, documentation and data.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across different functional areas.
- A genuine interest in digital transformation, technology-enabled process improvement and better ways of working.
- The ability to manage priorities and contribute to delivery against project timelines.
Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology or another GMP-regulated environment would be highly regarded but is not essential for someone with strong business systems or digital transformation capability.
Likewise, experience with PES/MES, Electronic Batch Records, eDMS/QMS, workflow configuration, UAT, validation or digital implementation projects would be advantageous but is not essential.
You don't need experience with our particular electronic system — we can teach you that. We're looking for someone who is analytical, digitally capable, curious, learns quickly and enjoys understanding how systems and processes can work better together.
