Director – Business Development | Digital Forensics & Incident Response The Opportunity
Infotrust is expanding its Digital Forensics, Incident Response and eDiscovery practice, creating an opportunity for an established business development leader to take a significant role in its next stage of growth.
Based in Melbourne and reporting directly to the EGM of Consulting & ForensicIT, the mandate is national and genuinely market-facing: build recent strategic relationships, open underpenetrated markets and strengthen Infotrust’s position across the legal, insurance and enterprise sectors.
The practice sits at the intersection of cyber security, investigations, litigation and risk. Client engagements are often complex and highly sensitive - from cyber breach response and digital investigations through to disputes, regulatory matters, eDiscovery and the management of digital evidence.
This creates a particularly interesting proposition for someone with an established professional network and a background in Big Four, legal, consulting,
forensic technology, eDiscovery or adjacent professional services. There is an existing specialist capability behind the role, alongside the broader scale of Infotrust’s cyber security practice, with considerable scope to shape how that capability is taken to market.
Deep technical expertise is not essential. The value of the role lies in commercial judgement, market credibility and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, recognise where a client has a problem worth solving and connect that need with the right specialist expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and execute the growth strategy for Digital Forensics, Incident Response, eDiscovery and related cyber advisory services.
- Develop senior relationships across law firms, insurers and large enterprise organisations, including Partners, General Counsel, C-suite executives an
