Salesforce Transformation Director & Integration Officer

Role purpose:

Lead the enterprise transformation of Salesforce into a scalable, business-led digital platform, while owning the integration strategy that connects Salesforce with core banking/ERP, customer, data, marketing, service, and operational systems.

Comparable roles typically combine Salesforce roadmap ownership, cross-functional delivery leadership, governance, adoption, API/middleware integration, data migration, testing, and executive reporting.

Key responsibilities

- Define and execute the multi-year Salesforce transformation strategy, roadmap, investment case, target operating model, and measurable business outcomes.
- Act as the senior business–technology liaison, translating customer, sales, service, operations, finance, and regulatory needs into prioritised Salesforce capabilities.
- Establish platform governance for demand intake, architecture decisions, release planning, data ownership, security, environment management, and technical debt.
- Lead a cross-functional delivery function comprising product owners, architects, administrators, developers, business analysts, QA/test engineers, change specialists, and integration engineers.
- Own the enterprise integration roadmap for Salesforce, including APIs, event-driven patterns, middleware/iPaaS, batch interfaces, identity, master data, and observability.
- Ensure reliable integration with systems such as core platforms, ERP, finance, marketing automation, data platforms, document management, contact centres, and digital channels.
- Govern solution architecture,



ensuring designs meet requirements for scalability, availability, privacy, security, auditability, data residency, and operational resilience.
- Direct end-to-end program delivery across discovery, design, build, test, data migration, cutover, hypercare, and continuous improvement.
- Establish DevSecOps practices for Salesforce and integrations: source control, CI/CD, automated testing, code quality, release controls, monitoring, and incident management.
- Drive business adoption through stakeholder engagement, process redesign, training, communications, change impact assessments, and benefits tracking.
- Define KPIs covering platform adoption, customer experience, delivery velocity, integration reliability, data quality, cost-to-serve, and realised benefits.
- Report transformation progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, and investment performance to executive sponsors and governance forums.

Required Experience & Skills:

- 20 years in enterprise technology, CRM, digital transformation, architecture, or technology delivery leadership.
- 5 years leading significant Salesforce transformation or product-platform programs across multiple business domains.
- Demonstrated leadership of complex Salesforce ecosystems, ideally including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud,



Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, CPQ/Revenue Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or industry clouds as relevant.
- Solid integration expertise: REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, asynchronous messaging, middleware/iPaaS, canonical data models, integration security, API lifecycle management, and operational support.
- Experience with MuleSoft or an equivalent integration platform, plus API gateways, event streaming, and enterprise data-management practices.
- Track record delivering large-scale data migration, system integration, testing, cutover, and post-implementation stabilisation.
- Strong stakeholder-management skills, including influencing senior executives and aligning business, operations, risk, architecture, engineering, and vendors.
- Experience establishing Agile delivery, product governance, release management, and measurable transformation outcomes.

Desired Experience & Skills:

- Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer, Integration Architect, Application Architect, System Architect, or CTA.
- MuleSoft certifications or equivalent enterprise-integration credentials.
- Degree in technology, engineering, information systems, or business; equivalent practical leadership experience acceptable.
- Agile, SAFe, PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, TOGAF, or change-management qualifications.
- Experience in regulated industries particularly financial services, government, healthcare, or utilities.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
