Disability Support Worker – Female Staff Required (Bella Vista, NSW 2153)

Position: Casual – Up to $45.28/hr Penalty for weekend shifts

Location: Bella Vista, NSW 2153

Fixed Timings - Wednesday and Thursday 8 AM to 4 PM

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Female Disability Support Worker to support a Male client based in Bella Vista, NSW 2153.

The ideal candidate must have proven experience supporting individuals with dementia, behaviours of concerns.

A calm, patient, and confident approach is essential for building trust and maintaining a safe, supportive setting.

A permanent resident / citizen of Australia is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the client with daily routines and encourage a structured, engaging day.
- Provide community access support, including attending appointments and recreational outings.
- Assist with basic household chores and ensure a clean, safe living space.
- Use effective strategies to manage behaviours of concern with professionalism and empathy.
- Support the client’s emotional wellbeing and encourage their independence.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the support team.

REQUIREMENTS - CHECKS/ CERTIFICATES

- Cert III or Cert IV in Individual Support, Home & Community Care, Aged Care, Disability Care or higher or willing to work towards
- Current First aid and CPR qualification or willingness to obtain within three months
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- COVID-19 minimum 3 doses




- Infection control training completed
- Manual handling training completed
- NDIS Clearance Check
- Current and Valid Working with Children’s Check
- Current unrestricted and full driver's license
- Own a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
