About the Role

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in Dee Why on a permanent full-time or part-time basis. Opportunities for Room Leader positions may also be available for suitable candidates.

Essential Requirements:

Applicants must have

- An ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification and NESA registration
- A current and valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certification or willingness to obtain
- Current Child Protection training and Child Safety training or willingness to obtain
- Current Basic Food Handlers training or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a skilled team environment

Child Safety & Pre-employment Checks

Dee Why Kindergarten is committed to rigorous recruitment, screening,



and selection practices to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.

The successful applicant will be required to participate in comprehensive pre-employment screening, including:

- Verification of Working With Children Check status
- Reference checks that specifically address suitability to work with children
- Relevant child protection and employment history checks
- NQA ITS prohibition notice checks
- Additional background screening where required under legislation or organisational policy

All employees are expected to actively contribute to a culture of child safety and participate in ongoing child protection and child-safe practice training.
