Our client, a global energy and infrastructure organisation, is seeking a Senior Energy Infrastructure Development Manager to support the delivery of large-scale power generation projects across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.

This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in enabling the infrastructure that will power hyperscale data centres, AI technologies and major industrial developments, with projects ranging from 100MW through to multi-gigawatt facilities.

In this position, you'll act as the key link between engineering, construction and regulatory stakeholders, ensuring projects are fully compliant, construction-ready and positioned for successful execution. You'll influence critical decisions during FEED and development phases while also supporting permitting, inspections and compliance throughout project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead construction permitting strategies for major power infrastructure projects.
- Ensure alignment between engineering deliverables, regulatory requirements and construction execution.
- Drive compliance across mechanical, electrical, gas and fuel-handling systems.
- Support EPC execution teams to achieve construction readiness and regulatory approvals.
- Manage relationships with regulatory authorities, inspection agencies and certification bodies.
- Proactively identify and mitigate permitting and compliance risks that may impact project schedules.

About You

We're interested in speaking with professionals who offer:

- 10+ years' experience in construction permitting,

regulatory compliance or code compliance within power, energy or major industrial projects.
- Direct experience supporting large-scale power generation developments, ideally 100MW+.
- Solid construction-phase compliance and permitting expertise.
- Experience working alongside EPC contractors and construction teams.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, piping and fuel systems.
- Proven engagement with regulators, certifiers and inspection authorities.
- The ability to influence both engineering/design teams and construction delivery teams.
- Full and unrestricted Australian working rights
- Experience within gas-fired generation, balance of plant infrastructure, electrical transmission/interconnection or fuel systems would be highly regarded.

What's on Offer

- Opportunity to work on some of the region's most significant and technically complex energy infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to next-generation power solutions supporting AI, hyperscale data centres and industrial growth.
- A highly visible role influencing projects from early development through to construction execution.
- Domestic and international collaboration across major APAC projects.

Location: Perth, Western Australia. Applications are welcomed from both local and interstate candidates, with relocation support considered for the successful applicant.

Travel: Approximately 30% domestic and international travel as needed.
