As a Flooding & Stormwater Engineer, your impact will be within the Victorian Stormwater and Flooding team. The team is a specialist group focusing on delivering solutions in the areas of hydrological investigations,
1D hydraulic modelling and 2D regional flood modelling and Water Sensitive Urban Design (constructed waterbodies, raingardens, etc). This is an opportunity to work within a passionate and well-established team to deliver innovative solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects - locally and nationally!
You will be responsible for:
- Undertaking flood studies, flood impact assessments and stormwater management plans.
- Development of hydraulic and hydrological models.
- Development of water balance and water quality treatment models
- Undertake civil engineering calculations to support the design of WSUD infrastructure.
- Preparation of GIS databases and maps (utilising QGIS, ArcGIS, or MapInfo).
- Preparing technical reports to document your work.
Qualifications
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 2+ years’ professional experience with demo
