Advanced Enrolled Nurse Opportunity – Cardiology & General Medicine

Permanent part time opportunity for an experienced Enrolled Nurse to provide advanced, person-centred nursing care within a busy Cardiology and General Medical inpatient unit at Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital.

Your new role

As an Enrolled Nurse Advanced Skills (ENAS), you will use your advanced clinical knowledge, skills and experience to provide high-quality, evidence-based care while working predominantly with indirect supervision from a Registered Nurse. You will play an important role in supporting positive patient outcomes across Ward 5A, a 26-bed Cardiology and General Medical unit with telemetry capability for up to 20 patients.

- Provide advanced nursing care to patients with acute, complex and chronic cardiac and general medical conditions.
- Apply your clinical expertise to plan, deliver and evaluate person-centred care within your scope of practice.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical portfolios, education and evidence-based practice.
- Support collaborative clinical leadership, mentoring and the development of less experienced staff.

About You We are looking for an experienced Enrolled Nurse who is confident working in a general medical and/or cardiology environment and is ready to apply advanced clinical skills and knowledge.

- Demonstrated experience as an Enrolled Nurse in a general medical and/or cardiology inpatient setting, with a minimum of two years' experience at Nurse Grade 3 level.

- Advanced clinical knowledge, skills and competence in cardiac and general medical nursing practice.




- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
- A commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous improvement, professional development and person-centred care.

About Us Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital: The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII)



is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine. We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
