Whitsunday Air Services is a Helicopter, Seaplane and Fixed Wing aircraft tour and transfer operator servicing the Whitsundays, Great Barrier Reef and Hamilton Island area, offering scenic flights, helicopter transfers, reef cruises and snorkelling tours.
About The Role
Whitsunday Air Services is seeking a full-time DHC-2 Seaplane Pilot for tourism and charter operations, residing on Hamilton Island and reporting to the Fixed Wing Specialist, providing safe, professional and compliant line pilot operations.
Essential Requirements
- CPL (A)
- 500 hours total time PIC; 250 hours seaplane experience; 350 water landings
- DHC-2 endorsement or similar; amphibian experience essential
- Current DG, ASIC and HUET course (mandatory prior to employment)
- Australian citizen,
resident or visa holder with full working rights
- Pre-employment DAMP test and Pilot Aptitude Test
- Nil incidents/accidents in the last 5 years
Desirable
- 50 hours PIC on DHC-2; open water experience
- GA-8 Airvan experience
- Hospitality/tourism or customer service background
