Role Description The Experienced Manufacturing Operator role is a full time, on-site position based in Yatala, QLD. The individual in this role will operate and monitor manufacturing equipment for capsules, tablets, powders, and liquid formulations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards. Daily responsibilities include setting up machines, performing batch changes, conducting in-process checks, and documenting production activities accurately.

The operator will troubleshoot minor equipment issues, escalate technical problems as needed, and collaborate with quality and warehouse teams to support smooth production flow.



Maintaining a clean, organized work area and following all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements is essential.

Qualifications

- Strong experience with manufacturing equipment operation and basic mechanical troubleshooting in a pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food production environment.
- Knowledge of GMP, safety procedures, and compliance requirements within TGA, FDA, or similar regulated facilities.
- Ability to follow SOPs, perform accurate batch documentation, and conduct in-process quality checks.
- Good attention to detail, numeracy skills for measurements and weights, and ability to work to production schedules and targets.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across production, quality, and warehouse teams.
- Previous experience in tablet pressing, encapsulation, blending, filling, or packaging operations is highly regarded.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, handle materials, and perform manual tasks safely.
- Certificate in Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience is beneficial.
