Experience in Aged Care is preferred along with recent management experience.
Requirements
In fulfilling the role, it is essential the candidates have:
- Current AHPRA registration and National Police Certificate
- Commitment to Quality Improvement and Aged Care Accreditation standards
- 3-5 years clinical experience in aged care
- Knowledge of Aged Care Act, best practice documentation
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring & supervising a multi-disciplinary team of staff
- Knowledge of best practice documentation and relevant Commonwealth aged care funding instruments
- Flexibility in days of work including working weekends.
- A robust passion and commitment in the delivery of Aged Care Services
- A deep empathy and general care for aged care residents
Previous experience as an Aged Care Facility Manager is desirable and tertiary qualifications in a related area viewed favorably.
