Role Description The General Practitioner will provide day-to-day clinical care, including patient consultations, diagnosis, management of acute and chronic conditions, and preventative health services. The role involves prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting investigations, maintaining accurate clinical records, and coordinating care with other health professionals. This is a full time, on-site role based in Sunshine Coast, QLD, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, culturally sensitive care and contribute to continuous improvement of clinical processes.

Qualifications





- Strong clinical skills in Medicine and Primary Care, with experience managing a broad range of presentations across the lifespan.
- Competence in Family Medicine, including chronic disease management, preventive care, and coordination of ongoing treatment plans.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing staff, providing guidance and support in patient care and clinical procedures.
- Experience in Training, mentoring, or supervising other clinicians and practice staff in best-practice clinical care.
- Current medical degree and full registration (or eligibility for registration) with the relevant medical board in Australia.
- Experience in community or general practice settings; familiarity with aesthetic treatments is an advantage.
- Commitment to patient-centered, non-discriminatory care, with solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, manage time efficiently, and use clinical software and electronic medical records.
