Services (QGS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Qantas Airways and is responsible for providing ground handling services to Qantas Freight, Australia's largest independent air freight services business, which has seen continuous growth.

As Freight Ground
Crew, you will work in different areas of the Freight department including Domestic and International, looking after our customers' freight — from beloved pets and animals to machinery, dangerous goods and packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Significant manual handling of freight, including loading and unloading of aircraft.
- Operating forklifts, tugs and heavy machinery.
- Operating computer systems, scanners, and lodging freight documents into the warehouse system (iCargo).
- Working with supervisors and managers to expand your knowledge and skills while progressing your career.
Essential Requirements
- A current and valid provisional or full state or territory driver's licence.
- A current and valid forklift licence, or willing to obtain at own expense.
- The ability to repetitively lift items up to 32kg in weight.
- Ability to work all shifts in a dynamic 24-hour, 7-day-a-week rotational shift roster.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical (Qantas funded).
Desirable
- Previous experience using a forklift in a warehouse setting.
- Recent experience in a manual handling or physical role, within a fast-paced operational environment.
