We are on the hunt for a recent permanent part time Mid-Level Graphic Designer working 15-20 hours a week to support the creative design on some of Australia’s most exciting arts, lifestyle and travel clients.

The Aruga Mid-Level Graphic Designer will be passionate about creativity, branding and visual communication. In this role, you’ll work closely with our creative, strategic account teams to transform ideas into compelling visual experiences across print, digital, social media and campaign platforms. No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, collaboration and solving creative challenges in a fast-paced agency environment.

The successful candidate will be part of an inspiring, creative and collaborative team of marketing, communications,events professionals and storytellers. They will manage multiple client projects and bring fresh new ideas while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop visual solutions that align with client objectives and brand strategies.

· Design marketing collateral including social media content, digital assets, presentations, pitch documents, reports, event materials, infographics and promotional assets.

· Create and maintain cohesive brand identities, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.





· Translate creative briefs into engaging, high-quality visual communications.

· Prepare artwork for both print and digital production.

· Present design concepts and incorporate feedback from internal teams and clients.

· Manage multiple projects, prioritise competing deadlines and deliver work on time without compromising quality.

· Stay informed about emerging design trends and marketing innovations to continuously elevate

Aruga’s work.

· Maintain organised project files and contribute to the ongoing development of Aruga's creative resources and brand standards.

REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, or a related discipline.

· Minimum of 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within a creative,

marketing, branding, or communications agency.

· Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

· A strong portfolio demonstrating branding, campaign, editorial, digital and social media design is required.

· Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour theory, visual hierarchy and brand identity systems.

· Knowledge of print production and digital optimisation.

· Basic motion graphics or video editing skills using Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro or CapCut are highly desirable.

· Exceptional organisational, communication and presentation skills.

· A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.

· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary creative team.
