A unique opportunity exists for an accomplished investment professional to join a highly regarded institutional investment organisation responsible for overseeing a diversified investment portfolio of approximately $18 billion in assets under management.

Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, this newly created leadership role will play a key role in strengthening investment management capability, portfolio oversight and performance governance across a complex multi-asset portfolio. The position presents a rare opportunity to influence investment governance, portfolio management and strategic asset allocation while supporting the ongoing growth and evolution of a sophisticated investment platform.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of the investment management framework across a diversified investment portfolio.
- Drive portfolio monitoring, investment review and performance reporting processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations relating to portfolio construction, investment performance and strategic asset allocation.
- Develop robust investment governance, reporting and oversight frameworks.
- Partner closely with investment leaders, portfolio managers and executive stakeholders to support investment decision-making.
- Ensure investment outcomes, risks and performance measures are accurately monitored and reported.
- Contribute to the evolution of portfolio management practices as the organisation continues to scale and mature.
- Support the preparation and delivery of executive and board-level investment reporting.

About You:





You are a commercially astute and strategically minded investment leader with a proven track record operating within sophisticated institutional investment environments. Comfortable working at the intersection of investment performance, portfolio oversight and governance, you combine deep technical expertise with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive outcomes across complex organisations.

You have likely developed your career within large-scale asset owners, funds management, superannuation, private markets, infrastructure or broader institutional investment settings, where you have been responsible for overseeing investment performance, enhancing portfolio management frameworks and delivering high-quality insights to executive and governance audiences. Equally comfortable operating at both a strategic and operational level, you bring the judgement, credibility and leadership required to build structure, drive continuous improvement and support decision-making in a dynamic and evolving environment.

As a leader, you are recognised for your ability to build trust, foster collaboration and develop high-performing teams. You bring a pragmatic and inclusive leadership style, with experience leading investment professionals and working across multidisciplinary stakeholder groups to deliver outcomes in complex, rapid-paced environments. You are capable of providing both strategic direction and hands-on guidance, creating clarity in ambiguity while maintaining a strong focus on accountability,



performance and continuous improvement.

You will bring:

- 15 years' experience across investment management, portfolio management, asset allocation, investment strategy, portfolio oversight or investment governance.
- A fundamental understanding of investments on both sides of the capital stack.
- Deep understanding of investment management frameworks, portfolio monitoring and performance management disciplines.
- Experience working with complex multi-stakeholder environments and senior executive leadership teams.
- Strong commercial judgement and analytical capability, with an ability to translate complex investment issues into clear and actionable insights.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing high-quality investment reports and recommendations.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, business or a related discipline.
