We're looking for a commercially minded P&C; leader who thrives on building capability, improving systems, creating structure and driving enterprise wide change. Someone who enjoys solving complexity, turning ambiguity into scalable solutions, and using data, technology and process excellence to elevate the employee experience.

As one of Australia's largest land transport operators, CDC is evolving its People & Culture function to support future growth. The Head of P&C; Services will play a critical role in shaping and leading a modern, enterprise wide P&C; service model focused on operational excellence, governance, systems, insights and continuous improvement. The role sits within CDC's Corporate P&C; function and is responsible for creating scalable and consistent people processes across a national, multi business operation.

What you'll lead

- Design and implement CDC's national P&C; Services operating model
- Drive employee lifecycle excellence across onboarding, employee movements, remuneration and performance reviews, and offboarding
- Lead P&C; systems, data quality, reporting and digital enablement initiatives
- Improve governance, policy frameworks and process controls
- Establish meaningful workforce reporting and people insights
- Build scalable service delivery models that improve both employee and leader experience
- Partner closely with Business Unit P&C; leaders to drive consistency while supporting operational needs
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that simplify processes and remove complexity from the business

What we're looking for





You may currently be a Head of HR Operations, Head of People Services, HR Shared Services Manager, HRIS Leader, HR Transformation Lead or a senior P&C; leader with strong operational and technical capability.

You'll bring

- Experience leading HR Operations, People Services, Shared Services or P&C; transformation functions
- Strong systems and data capability, with exposure to HRIS implementations, workforce analytics and process automation
- Proven success building operating models, governance frameworks and scalable service structures
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence senior leaders across a complex organisation
- A continuous improvement mindset and passion for simplifying ways of working
- The commercial acumen to balance enterprise consistency with operational practicality
- Experience leading teams through change and uplift programs
