We are seeking Casual Care Staff Employees in the Blue Mountains, Sydney Metropolitan and Western/Nepean areas. The role includes tasks and activities that support the consumers independence to remain living in their own home including personal care, transport, shopping, domestic duties & providing respite for carers etc.

- Be reliable, calm, honest and sensitive to the needs of people
- Provide a level of care that enhances the independence of clients
- Ensure all care services are of a consistent high quality
- Enable people to live in a protected, healthy environment which promotes independence and self-confidence
- Participate in ongoing staff development and training
- Ensure compliance with industry and company Policies and Procedures
- Preferred proven work experience with the elderly and/or people with a disability and their carers.
- Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Current Driverâs License
- Reliable registered and insured vehicle
- Use of a smart phone and email
- Reliability and initiative
- Willingness to work various and flexible hours, including evenings & some weekends
- Willingness to undertake a Police Check
- First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain within the first three months of employment
- Excellent phone manner and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to liaise professionally with client management and other key stakeholders ensuring positive outcomes for our elderly consumers
- Ability to take directives from the Management team in relation to consumers
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or willingness to obtain.
- Current Working with Children Check is favourable or willingness to obtain
- Flu vaccination and Covid-19 vaccinations required
