About the Role The Hospital Medical Officer (HMO) works with a diverse and high performing team of health care professionals across general wards.
The HMO provides onsite medical care across Calvary Lenah Valley and St John's Hospitals - with the role requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise directly with the admitting Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs)/onsite clinical staff - to provide high quality patient care.
What you bring
- AHPRA registration (Full/General) - We cannot consider applicants who are not currently registered
- Minimum PGY4 experience with a current ALS certification or evidence of airway management and ability to run Medical emergency or Code Blue
- Ability to exercise a high degree of independent judgement
- Flexibility and adaptive in approach to service delivery
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
- Highly effective time management
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
