Hospital Pharmacy Technician (Rotational) – Full Time
Location: Melbourne, VIC Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
About the Role
HPS is seeking a flexible and motivated Hospital Pharmacy Technician to join our Melbourne team in a unique rotational role across both hospital and correctional health services. This opportunity offers exposure to a diverse range of pharmacy environments, supporting medication supply, inventory management and pharmacy operations across multiple sites throughout Melbourne. No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, learning new skills and working with different teams.
You will play an important role in ensuring patients and healthcare services receive safe, accurate and timely pharmacy support while gaining valuable experience across multiple healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Support medication dispensing and supply services across multiple sites
- Manage stock, imprest and inventory replenishment activities
- Assist with medication distribution and operational pharmacy services
- Conduct stocktakes and maintain accurate stock records
- Support compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures
- Build strong working relationships with site teams and stakeholders
- Travel between hospital and correctional health locations as required
About You
- Previous pharmacy technician or pharmacy assistant experience desirable
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to adapt to different healthcare environments and teams
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable,
flexible and proactive approach to work
- Current driver's licence desirable
- Passion for supporting high-quality healthcare services
