We’re looking for great people to join our team and be part of this exciting and friendly venue. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Hospitality Manager to lead our front-of-house operations and help drive the continued success of our venue.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Venue Operations

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the venue, including the restaurant, bars, and function spaces.
- Lead, supervise and motivate a team of 10+ hospitality employees, ensuring exceptional customer service and effective daily operations.
- Coordinate staff rosters, monitor performance, provide coaching and assist with recruitment and training.
- Ensure all shifts operate efficiently while maintaining high service standards.

Operational & Business Management

- Manage labour costs, wages, stock control, purchasing and inventory.
- Monitor daily trading performance and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, food safety, WHS legislation and company policies.
- Maintain venue presentation, cleanliness and operational standards.

Customer Experience

- Deliver exceptional customer service and promptly resolve customer enquiries and complaints.
- Oversee reservations, group bookings and daily service operations.
- Ensure food and beverage service consistently meets The Exchange Hotel's quality standards.

Functions & Events

- Coordinate the successful delivery of private functions and special occasions.
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure events are delivered professionally and exceed customer expectations.
- Support the operation of major entertainment events including live music, DJs and promotional nights.

Marketing & Business Development

- Assist in implementing venue promotions, seasonal campaigns and special events.
- Support initiatives that increase customer engagement, repeat visitation and venue revenue.

About You To be successful in this role you will have:

- At least 1 year of experience in a Hospitality Manger, Hotel Manager, Venue Manager, Operations Manager or similar management role.
- Strong leadership experience within a hotel, restaurant,



bar or large hospitality venue.
- Demonstrated experience managing staff, rostering, stock control, purchasing, budgets and daily venue operations.
- Experience coordinating functions, events or entertainment venues.
- Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills.
- Solid problem-solving ability and the capacity to perform under pressure.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating outstanding customer experiences.
