What you'll be doing
No two days are the same! You'll work alongside our operational leaders and HSE team to:
- Support safety initiatives across the Southeast Region (Fairfield, Wollongong, Newcastle, Seven Hills)
- Conduct workplace inspections and risk assessments.
- Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety communications, and inductions.
- Support wellbeing, rehabilitation, and workers' compensation activities.
- Coach and engage our people to create a positive safety culture.
- Help identify practical ways to make our workplaces safer every day.
About you
We're not looking for years of experience—we're looking for the right attitude.
You'll be someone who
- Has recently completed a Diploma or higher in Work Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Environment or a related discipline.
- Is eager to learn and build a long-term career in HSE.
- Loves working with people and has the confidence to start conversations.
- Has great communication skills and enjoys building relationships.
- Is organised, curious and enjoys solving problems.
- Wants to get out into operational environments and learn from experienced professionals.
- Has a genuine passion for keeping people safe.
