Role DescriptionThe Investment Manager / Account Manager is responsible for managing investment portfolios, client accounts, financial performance, and stakeholder relationships in accordance with organizational objectives and client requirements. The role involves analyzing financial markets and investment opportunities, monitoring portfolio performance, preparing investment reports, and supporting asset allocation and risk management decisions. The position also maintains strong client relationships by understanding financial objectives, providing timely updates, addressing account-related matters, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver high-quality service.

The role requires sound financial judgment, strong analytical capabilities, and a professional approach to portfolio and account management.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Investment Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional qualification or certification in finance or investment management is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, investment products, portfolio management, and risk management principles.
- Knowledge of equities,



fixed income, funds, alternative investments, and other financial instruments is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze financial statements, market information, investment performance, and portfolio data.
- Understanding of asset allocation, investment objectives, risk assessment, and portfolio monitoring.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial analysis, portfolio management, or CRM systems.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent client relationship, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to prepare clear investment reports, account reviews, presentations, and management information.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and priorities.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical judgment.
- Understanding of applicable financial regulations, compliance requirements, and investment governance principles.
