IPD is excited to offer a newly created opportunity for a Trade Assistant - Electrical Distribution Boards to join our growing Production team. This hands-on role will play an important part in supporting the assembly and delivery of high-quality electrical distribution boards and switchboards for customers across a range of industries.

About the role

As a Trade Assistant, you will be responsible for:

- Assembling and wiring electrical distribution boards and switchboards.
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, SLDs, and wiring schematics.
- Supporting production activities to meet quality and delivery targets.
- Following established quality, safety, and workshop procedures.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workshop setting.
- Supporting the workshop team with additional tasks as required.

Skills and Experiences

About You

To be successful in the role, you will have:

- Previous experience in electrical assembly, switchboards, or the electrical industry.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring schematics.




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid organisational and time management skills.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and eager to learn.
