Role Description

This full-time, on-site Junior Solicitor role is based at our office in Gold Coast, QLD. The Junior Solicitor will assist in drafting legal documents, advising clients, conducting research, and managing family law matters including separation, divorce, and parenting arrangements. The role also involves liaising with clients, attending hearings, and collaborating with team members to develop legal strategies tailored to each case.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of Family Law, including separation, divorce, parenting arrangements,



and related legal issues
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Prior experience in legal practice or family law is preferred but not essential
- Admission as a solicitor in Queensland or eligibility to practise in Queensland
- A current practising certificate, or the ability to obtain one
- 0–2 years PAE, preferably with some exposure to family law
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Good attention to detail and file management habits
- A calm and respectful manner with clients experiencing stressful personal circumstances
- A willingness to learn, receive feedback and develop your legal skills
- Sound judgment, confidentiality and professionalism
- An interest in working in a boutique, values-led family law firm
