Future Asset Management is embedded inside a well-known mining company, building the framework that turns predictive maintenance and asset health data into real planning decisions. These are decisions that change how components get replaced, how shutdowns get scoped, and how risk gets seen before it becomes downtime.
We're looking for a Maintenance Planning Integration Principal to own that framework: design it, pilot it on site, and hand it over in a form planning teams will actually use.
What you'll be doing
- Turning asset health and predictive maintenance outputs into planning decisions, decision logic and governance. This isn't a BAU planner role.
- Applying risk-based maintenance principles so condition-informed decisions are consistent and auditable
- Facilitating workshops and influencing stakeholders across Reliability, Maintenance Strategy and Operations
- Driving pilot validation on site, then refining the framework for adoption
- Writing the standards,
playbooks and handover material that make it stick after you move on
Who we're keen to speak withPeople with around seven-plus years in maintenance planning, reliability engineering or maintenance strategy. Explicit writers who've built standards or playbooks a site team actually kept using. SAP work management knowledge is a bonus, not essential. The bit that matters mostYou'll report to a leader who's done this work himself, not a career manager parachuted in. Someone who's spent over a decade in mining maintenance and reliability, including leading global strategy teams, before stepping into this program. You'll get real latitude to shape the approach, not a brief to execute someone else's.
