About The Role
Based at Perth Airport, the Manager, Health, Safety & Workplace drives safety, wellbeing and environmental performance across operations, partnering with operational teams, People & Culture, senior leaders and regulators. The role leads HSE activities across WA and NT business units and contributes to national HSE programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support local HSE teams to deliver planned safety and environmental activities
- Drive hazard identification, risk assessment, incident investigation and legislative compliance
- Deliver safety and environmental improvement initiatives
- Conduct internal audits and inspections, and support external audits
- Facilitate HSE inductions and maintain accurate incident records
- Support injury management, including triage and return-to-work planning
- Prepare monthly HSE reports for key stakeholders
Essential Requirements
- Formal safety qualification (essential); environmental qualification desirable
- Demonstrated success in a similar HSE leadership role
- Understanding of state workers' compensation schemes; case management experience highly regarded
- Competent in documentation, reporting and records management using Microsoft Office
- Current full driver's licence
