We are currently seeking a Manager of Residential Services to manage a 120 bed - residential aged care facility with a well - established reputation for excellence located in Nowra, New South Wales. This beautiful facility has a tranquil Nowra bushland location, with accessible landscaped gardens and a wheelchair friendly native walking path.

As the Director of Nursing, you will lead staff and manage resources to provide individualised and holistic care, meeting the client’s needs and upholding quality services aligned with organisational standards.

Requirements

- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration

- A minimum of 5 years of senior management experience

- Exceptional clinical knowledge and skills

- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills

- The nature of the position requires that the person be willing to work within the mission, vision and values of the organisation

- Demonstrated experience, knowledge and understanding of ACFI assessment, care planning, and validation procedures

- A strong commitment to excellence and quality in the provision of aged care related services with a sound working knowledge of quality principles and accreditation

- Well-developed communication, problem solving and conflict resolution skills





- Excellent people management and interpersonal skills to ensure the achievement of quality outcomes

- Sound computer skills in Microsoft Office suite – intermediate level

- Current unrestricted full NSW Drivers License.

- A current Criminal History Check

The position is responsible for:

- The management of the existing 120 bed ageing in place aged care facility

- Driving and maintaining the operational budget of the facility

- Staff supervision, training and development

- Accurate and timely documentation and reporting systems

- Compliance with systems, procedures and continuous improvement activities
