Manager – Special Projects

OIS Global is a national professional services firm specialising in investigations across insurance, legal, corporate and workplace matters. We are currently seeking an experienced investigations professional to join our leadership team as Manager – Special Projects Unit.

This is an opportunity to establish, lead and develop a specialist function within a growing national investigations business.

The Role

As Manager – Special Projects , you will be responsible for managing and delivering complex, sensitive and high-value investigations across a broad range of matters.

Working closely with senior management, clients and our national investigation team, you will oversee the successful delivery of specialist projects while contributing to the continued development and growth of the unit.

Key responsibilities will include

- Managing complex and specialist investigation matters from instruction through to completion
- Leading, mentoring and supporting investigators
- Reviewing investigation strategies, methodologies and evidentiary requirements
- Managing client expectations, project timeframes and investigative outcomes
- Conducting or overseeing interviews, enquiries, surveillance and other investigative activities as required
- Reviewing and quality-assuring investigation reports and supporting evidence
- Identifying opportunities to develop new investigative capabilities and services
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Working closely with senior management on strategic and operational initiatives
- Ensuring all investigations are conducted ethically, professionally and in accordance with relevant legislation, licensing requirements and OIS Global standards

About You

Successful applicants will demonstrate

- Current Private Security Individual Investigator Licence (VIC, NSW, QLD or WA)
- Certificate III in Investigative Services




- Demonstrated experience in complex, specialist or high-value investigations
- Previous leadership, management or senior investigative experience
- Strong understanding of investigative methodology, evidence gathering and reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder and client management capability
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
- Current driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Proficient computer and technology skills
- Experience across workers compensation, general insurance, workplace integrity, corporate or legal investigations will be highly regarded
