About Us

Autism Community Network (ACN) is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2011 to support autistic individuals and their families across NSW.

We create welcoming, connected communities through:

- Free peer-to-peer carer support groups
- Family days
- Autistic Adults Social Clubs
- Information, advocacy and practical support

About the Role

We're seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support and strengthen ACN's marketing and communications activities during an exciting period of growth.

This is a 3-month contract position with an immediate start, with the potential for extension.

You will play a key role in promoting ACN's programs, services and impact through digital marketing, content creation, newsletters, social media, photography and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage ACN's social media channels, website and digital communications.
- Create engaging content, newsletters and email campaigns.
- Design promotional materials and marketing assets.
- Capture photography and content at events and programs.
- Promote ACN's programs, events,



fundraising initiatives and community engagement activities while maintaining consistent brand messaging.

About You

You will have

- Experience in marketing, communications or a related field.
- Solid written communication and content creation skills.
- Experience managing social media, websites and email marketing.
- Graphic design skills using Canva and/or similar platforms.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- A genuine interest in making a positive difference in the community.

Experience with the following is desirable:

- Canva
- Mailchimp and/or HubSpot
- Square website platform
- Meta Business Suite
- Google Analytics
- Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software
- Microsoft 365
