About the role/s
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced tradespeople looking for stable, ongoing employment with a 7 days on / 7 days off roster, drive-in/drive-out arrangements and accommodation supplied while working. You will work as part of a skilled maintenance team, with duties suited to your trade, qualifications and experience. Work will include servicing, preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs and maintenance across a range of vehicles, plant and equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults.
- Perform inspections and pre-start checks.
- Complete scheduled maintenance.
- Undertake engine, transmission, brake, suspension and driveline repairs.
- Assist with electrical and hydraulic fault finding where required.
- Respond to breakdowns and undertake field repairs.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
About you
- A recognised mechanical trade qualification.
- Relevant industry experience.
- Strong mechanical diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- A commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- A current driver's licence.
- The ability to commit to a 7/7 DIDO roster.
