The Opportunity:
We have a unique opportunity available due to the retirement of a valued team member. We’re looking for an experienced senior qualified to step into a role defined by its scope, complexity, and diversity. Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager of People & Culture, the National Workplace Relations Manager will offer extensive expertise in employment and industrial relations.
In this role, you’ll lead a team of HR business partners, providing them and other stakeholders with trusted, credible guidance to ensure best practices and full legal compliance in all workplace outcomes.

What you’ll do:
In this role, you’ll be overseeing up to 29 certified agreements, spanning multiple brands/sites and varying in complexity and size. You will participate in and manage the entire bargaining process end-to-end, taking a hands-on approach to preparation, negotiating, and engaging with stakeholders, through to the voting and approval process in the Fair Work Commission.
You’ll take ownership of managing industrial risks, disputes, major organisational changes and complex case management – ensuring procedural fairness throughout.
You’ll also represent the organisation before tribunals and regulators, offer practical advice on employment issues such as conduct and performance and provide interpretative advice on industrial agreements in day-to-day operations. Additionally, you’ll contribute to developing policies and frameworks while supporting leaders in enhancing their people management skills.
The successful incumbent will benefit from transitional support and handover.
