Life in the fast lane

As our New Partnerships Manager, you will be joining our Commercial Partnerships & Sales team, who make up part of the Commercial Division. This is a permanent position, based at our Head Office in St Kilda.

Reporting to the Division Manager – Commercial Partnerships, the New Partnerships Manager is responsible for contributing to commercial revenue growth by strategically identifying, engaging and securing current brand partnerships for the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix and any future events acquired by the organisation.

Working within established commercial strategies, policies and agreed revenue targets, the role manages a portfolio of prospective partners and applies sound commercial judgement to develop tailored, innovative partnership solutions that align prospective partner objectives with AGPC’s strategic priorities and available event assets.

Additionally, you will:

- Identify and pursue new commercial partnership opportunities across relevant industries, contributing to agreed revenue targets and the commercial growth of the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix and any future events secured by the organisation
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including strategic prospecting, pitching,



negotiation and the execution of commercial agreements.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and prospects across relevant industries.
- Design and pitch creative, integrated partnership solutions that reflect market trends, brand needs, and event assets.
- Maintain accurate CRM records of all client activity, sales progress, and contractual status.

What you'll bring to the role:
- 3–5 years of experience in partnership sales, preferably in events, sports, events, media or related industries.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Events or related field is desirable
- Strong commercial expertise and experience preparing and delivering strategic partnership proposals.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with CRM platforms and structured reporting.
- A current Police Check and Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee), or be willing to obtain
