- Lead and guide the ward/unit in alignment with the hospital's strategic and operational objectives.

- Provide operational oversight to ensure efficient unit management and delivery of evidence-based nursing care.

- Manage resources effectively, including human, financial, and material assets, while upholding high levels of customer service.

- Provide direct patient care as necessary, offering mentorship to junior staff.

Requirements

- AHPRA Registration

- Working with Children check





- Prior experience at a Nurse Unit Manager level or equivalent

- Acute care experience

- Relevant degree in nursing specialty

- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

- Robust communication skills, both verbal and written

- Commitment to personal and team development

- Dedication to delivering high-quality clinical and customer-centric care

- Proficiency in MS Office and database management

- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage time efficiently

- Demonstrated knowledge in labor management and HR practices

Management degree or working towards one

Benefits

- Salary is in accordance with the current Private Hospital Nurses and Midwives Enterprise Agreement (2021-2024), ranging from $57.97 to $62.28 per hour.
