About the Role:

As a Kitchenhand at Montessori Academy, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing of children through nutritious and carefully prepared meals. Our centres are catered, so no cooking is required. Your focus will be on safely handling, plating, and serving meals, maintaining high hygiene standards,



and supporting educators with children’s nutritional needs.

Key Responsibilities

Plate and serve morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and late snacks Follow strict food safety guidelines for children with allergies or anaphylaxis Safely handle food, including portioning and plating Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and shared spaces Support educators by helping meet each child’s nutritional needs Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations Represent Montessori Academy’s values and philosophy to families and visitors Attend team meetings and engage with company policies and procedures

What You’ll Need:

Current Working with Children Check Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willing to obtain one) Strong communication skills – written and verbal A collaborative mindset and a commitment to team success
