As a Part time designer for Homede Australia, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, interpreting, and implementing global trends within the home decor industry translating them into marketable products.

This part time role will utilize your creativity and marketing expertise to identify, design, and secure strategic opportunities within the industry.

What you'll be doing

· Proactively conducting market research on the home décor sector across Europe, North America, and Australia to identify consumer demand trends, assess competitive landscapes, and uncover potential product opportunities.

· Monitor the market rollout of competitors' products—including structural features and operational strategies—to develop targeted optimization initiatives and formulate annual product design and development plans.

· Manage the entire process of developing a new product, including analysis, design propossals, sampling, and production follow-up, while ensuring timely delivery and cost/quality expectations are met;

· Improving product development processes, establishing standardized documents (which include design specifications, performance requirements, cost budgeting, etc.)



and improving the development management system

· Led booth design and product development initiatives for domestic and international exhibitions, aligning with customer requirements and collaborating closely with design, supply chain, and sales teams to deliver tailored solutions efficiently.

· Collaborate with the company to develop comprehensive product training programs, define core selling points, formulate targeted market strategies, and support marketing and promotional activities.

What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is a driven, results-oriented individual with:

-Bacherlor’s degree in product design or related field;

-More than 5 years experience in designing and developing products within the home decor/ crafts/accessories industry,

-Bringing over three years of in-depth experience in executing international trade business processes

- A strong portfolio which showcase your ability to create elevated, trendy customer focus designs for our diverse range of customers

Proficient in the design concept, product structure, process flow, color matching, and other characteristics of handicrafts

-Strong market and data acumen, with the ability to refine product strategies through customer research and competitive product analysis.

-Ability to converse in Chinese and proficient in English

-Excellent time management skills.
