Featuring a specialist clinic with more than 16 dermatologists, 3 fellows and a plastic surgeon, spread over three locations. About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, proactive and customer-focused person to join our team.
In this full-time position, you will be responsible for maintaining patient records, coordinating the doctor’s schedule, communicating with GP clinics, booking appointments, responding to patient enquiries via phone and email, preparing procedure quotes, and performing various administrative tasks as required.
This primary purpose of this role is to ensure every patient experiences a seamless, skilled and supportive journey with our practice.
This role includes
- Diary management and liaising with patients for several doctors.
- Appointment booking
- Answering incoming calls and assisting patients and other medical providers with their requests and queries.
- Accurate data entry of patient information
- Scanning and attaching records to patient files.
- Working closely with Dermatology specialists and fellows, nurses, dermal clinicians and other supporting staff.
- Other administrative tasks such as recalls, reporting and monitoring online bookings.
Requirements of the role We are looking for someone who has:
- At least 1 year of experience in medical administration or general office administration
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients and staff in a warm and empathetic manner
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- High attention to detail
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
