About The Role

Base salary of $86,266 per annum (plus super)

Join TasNetworks as a People Graduate and gain hands-on experience across our People function while contributing to projects that make a difference.

You'll rotate through different People teams, building your HR knowledge, professional skills and understanding of our business, culture and the electricity industry.

What You'll Be Doing

- Rotate through People teams to build broad HR experience

- Support People projects and initiatives aligned to our business strategy

- Provide practical support across a range of HR activities

- Build relationships with leaders, employees and People team members

- Use people systems and data to support accurate information and improvements

- Develop your understanding of our policies, processes and culture

- Learn about the electricity industry, including the NEM and regulated environment

- Bring fresh ideas to improve the employee experience

- Participate in mentoring, learning and development opportunities

Most importantly, you'll learn by doing, build your professional network and develop the foundations for a rewarding HR career.

About You

We're looking for someone who is curious, collaborative and ready to learn. You'll ideally have:

- A recently completed or soon-to-be-completed (having graduated or graduating in 2024-2026) tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Commerce or a related discipline
- A genuine interest in building a career in People and Human Resources

- Solid communication and interpersonal skills

- Good analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with a diverse range of people
- A willingness to ask questions, learn and take on new challenges

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities





- Confidence using Microsoft Office and an interest in learning new systems and technology
- A positive, collaborative approach and commitment to safety and our TasNetworks values
